Dismantling White Supremacy updates

Date change; immigration history

Dismantling White Supremacy continues to meet once a month but will now be meeting on the second Tuesday evening of each month, 7:15-8:45. The next session will be on Tuesday, February 13, and facilitated by Rev. Amy Zucker Morgenstern. More detailed information about the session will be posted here shortly. All are welcome anytime.

In earlier sessions, we learned about how immigration law enforced racist ideas of who deserved to enter the U.S. and become a citizen. How have those laws been unraveled? In 1965, a law was passed to reverse the Chinese Exclusion Act–did it work? That and other issues are covered in this talk from the Tenement Museum, Monday, February 5, at 3:30 Pacific / 6:30 Eastern.
