Discovering UUCPA
Are you a new Unitarian Universalist? Considering UUism? Well-acquainted with UUism, but new to UUCPA? Or none of the above, but still have a lot of questions about UUCPA? These gatherings are offered to answer them and help you find your place in the life of the congregation.
When: Second Sunday of most months, 1-2pm
Where: Zoom online meeting
Led by: Rev. Amy Zucker Morgenstern, Parish Minister
The sessions rotate through four themes–jump in in any order.
1. UU Roots: the origins of today’s Unitarian Universalism.
2. Finding Your Path At / With UUCPA: building your theology, nurturing your spirit
3. Education and Justice: our philosophy of education and action
4. How Things Work / Volunteering and Membership: how we make decisions and how you can be a part of this volunteer-led community
In addition, we’ll be able to share the spiritual explorations that have brought us to this point and ask every question that’s on our minds — and even get the answers.
When in-person gatherings are easier, we will re-introduce a tour of the church buildings and grounds, with a brief history of the congregation told along the way.
