Exploring Mind, Hands, Spirit and Heart Through Art
Date(s) - 03/03/2019
1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
This session, we’ll explore negative space, as artists call the space within and around objects. First we’ll draw it and see how it makes us perceive things differently, and then we’ll fill in the space in interesting ways, inspired by artists and illustrators who have used negative space to great effect. All are welcome! Facilitated by Amy Morgenstern.
Give your hands and heart a gift by enjoying two hours of simple and profound art exercises. If you think you have no artistic talent, you will be amazed by what you can do. Most of all, you’ll enjoy the spiritual discoveries we make together by following a prompt into color, line, texture, shape, and image. All are welcome!
All materials are provided. For people of any age who can sustain an interest for two hours.
