Hike La Honda Creek Preserve – Canceled

This event was canceled due to rain.

Reminder: We are leaving early for this hike (8:30am) and I need your name if you plan to come.

On Saturday, April 7, we’re joining my friend, Tom Davids, for a hike at La Honda Open Space Preserve. This is a nine-mile hike in a recently opened area of the park. We will enjoy wide-open spaces, long views, early wild flowers, and the company of large but peaceful bovine.

We must leave from UUFRC (2124 Brewster at Lowell) in Redwood City by 8:45am to meet Tom at the trail head. Arrive at 8:30am to arrange carpools. The hike starts from Gate LH11 at the end of Sears Ranch Road.  There is a toilet at the trail head but not beyond.

We’ll return to Redwood City by 3pm. Bring lunch and water.
