  • About Ramadan: Ramadan is the 9th month of Islamic calendar.  The Holy book, the Quran was sent down from heaven as guidance during this month. The day starts with eating of the suhoor.  Suhoor is the meal eaten before the sun rises. At sunset we have another meal called Iftar. To open fast, we pray and have an Iftar meal with family and friends.

After Ramadan: Eid-Ul Fitr is celebrated.
