Facilitated by Rev. Amy Zucker Morgenstern
Held in a loving community, we will review our lives in the light of the fact that they will one day end. Thinking about these matters now is a great gift we can leave to those who will mourn us, making a real difference to our families and friends. The process of reflection also helps align our lives with our deepest values, from now through the rest of our days. So if you are wondering if you are too young for this workshop, the answer is: the younger you begin, the more fully you will live.
We will not be working on advance directives or any other medical decisions about the end of life (though I strongly advise them!). What we’ll do today is: give deep, soulful thought to our emotional and spiritual legacy; create guidance for our loved ones about such matters as our memorial service and obituary; and consider what kind of final resting place we envision for our bodies.
Food and childcare: Load up your plate with Fourth Sunday Brunch! Childcare is available in Rooms 2/3.
