Our Justice Partner for September is United Effort. The all-volunteer United Effort organization helps homeless people find affordable housing and jobs, and access safety net programs. They offer meal, shower, and laundry programs at Hope’s Corner in Mountain View, as well as job and computer literacy training. This coming Sunday, September 13, Charlie Chuck and Stacy Cobb will join us to speak about their own experiences with United Effort. The entire offering collection that day will be donated to the organization. In addition to the service Sunday, you may make a donation in the church office. Please make checks payable to UUCPA and put “Justice Partner” in the memo line. UUCPA is proud to support such a valuable community organization.
