An immersive experience in immigration justice and (literally) building community

Pastor AJ Blackwood, Executive Director of the Unitarian Universalist Justice Ministry of California (UUJMCA), sends us this invitation:

Join us on April 4-7, 2024, for our annual Pilgrimage to the Border – House Build, “Building Homes, Creating Community.” During our visit we will be working together to make real impact for a family in an emerging community, just south of our California border, in Tijuana. In partnership with Casas de Luz & UU Refugee & Immigrant Services and Education (UURISE), we are excited to offer an in-person immersion experience for UUs and UU-aligned individuals interested in engaging with the realities of immigration at the California border.

Registration is now OPEN! If you are interested in attending or would like to register click here and a member of our Immigrant Justice Team will contact you with more information.

Registration is FREE! In order to make this experience possible and available to everyone, regardless of economic circumstances, we are NOT REQUIRING any participants to make a financial commitment. Therefore, we are fundraising for this event. Please consider making a contribution today by clicking here
