Daylight Savings Time begins today–set your clocks forward!

“But you do believe in God . . . don’t you?” I get asked this question from time to time by people who don’t know much about us. But we UUs stumble all over ourselves trying to avoid even thinking about the concept of God, let alone talking about it. But suppose there are versions of God that even we might consider embracing. Then what? I think we need a short course in theology.

Ken Collier grew up in Wilmington, Delaware, and before he turned to the Unitarian Universalist ministry, earned a PhD in philosophy and taught philosophy for several years at Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. Ken served with UUCPA as our Parish Minister from 1991 to 2001, and after then serving with the congregation in Santa Barbara, retired in Santa Barbara with his wife Anne Anderson. His book Embracing Presence: An Understanding of Religion and Spirituality, was published earlier this year.
