Take five and share your interests and skills

When the Stewardship Team needs someone who loves graphic design to make the brochure, or the Adult Learning Journey is looking for potential presenters, or when anyone at UUCPA has a volunteer role to fill, they turn to the Volunteer Skills and Interests form. That way, they’re not making cold calls. They’re calling someone who has expressed a particular interest, and asking if this is a good time for them to put that interest to work at UUCPA.

5 Minute

Likewise, if you have filled out the form, when you get such a call, it will match your interests and skills. If the time isn’t convenient, or the role isn’t quite the right fit for you, you may decline–but it’s a lot more likely to be a good match, because the caller is reaching out to you specifically. This can be a great way to connect with other people at UUCPA who have something in common with you.

So will you please take five minutes (or probably fewer) to share this information? It will go into UUCPA’s Realm database, where leaders can retrieve it when a need arises.

Thank you!
