We have three exciting weekends coming up!
This Sunday, September 15, is the UUCPA Activity Fair. Stroll from table to table, snacking and learning about the many groups and activities from the people who know them best: the ones who enjoy them right now. Two dozen groups will have representatives at the fair, and they’re ready to connect you to the people and activities that will enrich your life. From social justice to music, bridge to gardening, spiritual exploration to sci-fi, there is a place for everyone. Come find yours.
The weekend of September 28 & 29, we join Unitarian Universalists all over the country in a Climate Justice Revival! Come gather hope, inspiration, and imagination. The Sunnyvale UUs will be joining us on Saturday, 9:30-12. And of course, our Sunday service will celebrate the earth and reimagine climate justice. Invite your friends from within and outside Unitarian Universalism–anyone who loves this planet and wants to help take us from an extractive age to a new era of joyful sharing of the earth’s bounty and beauty is welcome.
On Sunday, October 6, it’s all about the animals. The service is a Blessing of the Animals, with your own beloved critters welcome to join us to receive our thanks and their favorite treats, and the pictures and mementos of the animals you have loved filling our altar. Afterwards, we’ll have a petting zoo and other activities related to the non-human animals with whom we are so blessed to share the Earth. Again, a great day to bring friends–of all species!
