Roll Away the Stone! (Easter)

What weighty thing stands, seemingly immovably, between you and new life? Let’s roll it away and be amazed!
Amy gives the sermon, Dan tells the Easter story, and Liz Russ, who has sung for our Christmas Eve services, gives us special music in this intergenerational service. Special Music: Liz Russ, soprano

Chalice Sunday

In our annual fire service, we mark the holidays of Candlemas, St. Brigid’s Day and Imbolc–which converge at this midpoint between the winter solstice and spring equinox–and celebrate the many meanings of our chalice symbol. Why do we light a chalice at the beginning of our services, and what does it mean? Child care is provided at both services as always; other children remain in the Main Hall for this intergenerational service.

Easter Service – The Habit of Resurrection

In our intergenerational Easter service, Dan tells the Easter story as his Unitarian mother relayed it to him, and Amy suggests some practices that may make resurrection a reality in our daily lives. Our pianist, Veronika Agranov-Dafoe, provides special music along with the By Your Side Singers, our new group that offers pastoral care through song. Join us for the Easter Egg Hunt after the first service.

Winter Solstice Service

Join us on this longest night of the year! Our simple ceremony lasts under an hour, and is followed by abundant food (cheese, dips, pies, nuts) and also hot mulled wine and hot cider. Just come – food provided. Children and adults are welcome – we can all enjoy sharing a fire and some food on a dark night!
