Having been called to leadership from an early age, Mr. Barb has been a leader most of his life. He will share some of the adventures saying “yes” has taken him on, and reflect on the lessons learned during the journey. Music: Aurora Singers
In our annual fire service, we mark the holidays of Candlemas, St. Brigid’s Day and Imbolc–which converge at this midpoint between the winter solstice and spring equinox–and celebrate the many meanings of our chalice symbol. Why do we light a chalice at the beginning of our services, and what does it mean? Child care is provided at both services as always; other children remain in the Main Hall for this intergenerational service.
We welcome Christmas with stories, carols, special music, and candles. Come sing the familiar songs that are always powerful, and experience the magic of candlelight in the darkness.
We rejoice in the everyday miracles of the season, marking winter solstice, telling the story of Hanukah, and inviting all who wish to play a part in our No-Rehearsal Christmas Pageant. All ages welcome!
