Thanks to everyone who contributed their thoughts in the Congregational Survey and the B4 workshop. Now it is time for the LAST STEP for 2026! We want to hear directly from you about what you hope for in UUCPA’s next minister by joining us at a Listening Circle!
Don’t want to read more? RSVP here for a 1 hour in-person or zoom Listening Circle with the date and time that works best for you.
The Details:
Listening Circles are open gatherings of UUCPA members and friends designed to help the Search Committee better understand the needs, values, experiences, and hopes of our congregation as we search for UUCPA’s next minister.
During these conversations, we’ll invite you to reflect on questions like: When have you felt most connected, supported, or spiritually alive at UUCPA? What do you hope our congregation will become over the next several years? What qualities do you hope our next minister will bring to our community? And what would you want them to understand about who we are—and who we are becoming?
There are no right answers, and you do not need to prepare anything in advance. Our job is simply to listen. We want to hear from the many different people, experiences, perspectives, and hopes that make up our congregation.
We know schedules are busy, so we are offering several opportunities in person after service on Oct 18, 25 and Nov 1, as well as via Zoom on Oct 21 (noon-1pm), Oct 28 (5-6pm) and Nov 1 (7-8pm). RSVP for whichever session works best for you here: https://forms.gle/gs96pZYbyQjpYhSX6
Whether you have been part of UUCPA for decades or are relatively new, whether you are deeply involved or participate more occasionally, we want to hear from you.
If you have any questions, please reach out to Meag-gan O’Reilly at search-questions+listening@uucpa.org.
