The Action Council recently voted to co-sponsor an author event in October on the topic of systemic racism and how to undo it. The event will take place on the evening of October 26 at the Congregational Church of San Mateo and will feature Richard Rothstein, author of the book The Color of Law, and his daughter, Leah Rothstein. The Rothsteins have a new book out that is a follow-on to The Color of Law. It is entitled Just Action: How to Challenge Segregation Enacted Under the Color of Law. More details on this event will be published in a few weeks.
