Beloved Conversations registration open until Sept. 27, 2024

An abstract portrayal of several people, arms extended and faces turned toward each other

Beloved Conversations, a groundbreaking program from Meadville Lombard Theological School’s Fahs Collaborative, helps Unitarian Universalists create a better world. It places the experiences, needs, and wisdom of BIPOC+* individuals, and communities, at the heart of our learning in several ways:

  • Curriculum Design: The content is crafted by and features prominent BIPOC+ scholars, activists, and spiritual leaders.
  • Safe Spaces: The program has dedicated affinity spaces for BIPOC+ participants to share, heal, and lead.
  • Amplification: Beloved Conversations provides platforms for BIPOC+ voices to be heard, respected, and acted upon.

Beloved Conversations Program Director Rev. Kierstin Homblette Allen invites both white and BIPOC+ people to move toward justice and healing and join in creating a community–and a world–where all voices are heard and valued and where we can all thrive.

There are several programs: Un/Learning for Liberation (for white participants), Gathering Our Selves (for BIPOC+ participants), and others. Learn more about enrolling for the upcoming Fall 2024 term. Registration is open until September 27, 2024. Financial support is available from Beloved Conversations and from UUCPA; speak confidentially to Rev. Cat or Amy about the latter.
