Mark your calendar for the July 30 Annual Picnic, back for the first time since covid!  We are looking for glorious grillers,  delicious desserts, and awesome people who want to help set up and clean up. Sign up here! If you have any questions please reach out to Edie.

Where: At Mitchell Park (behind UUCPA)

When: Sunday, July 30 after service is out (~11:15/30 am). Walk on over via the pedestrian bridge or drive over.

Our signups are looking Really Good!  We have lots of desserts and set up help/clean up help. Thanks!
You may be wondering – what’s our menu? And where in Mitchell Park?
Our picnic site this year is at the far side of Mitchell Park, just off East Meadow. If you see the red spider dome, you have found our site. Our group picnic area is right next to this play structure and under shady redwood trees. Our site is also very close to the intersection of Cowper St. and East Meadow.
Walk or Drive? Your choice.
Google says it will take 9 minutes to walk from church.
If you drive, look for parking either on E. Meadow, including in front of Fair Meadow Elementary School, or in the parking lot with an entrance on E. Meadow.
Our Menu:
Chicken hot dogs and sausages
Veggie patties
(We will do our best to have the labels at hands if you need to check the ingredients)
Buns and gluten-free buns
Diced onion, sliced tomato, condiments
Chips and Salsa
Homemade Potato Salad
Vegetarian Baked Beans
Salad Bar
Water, lemonade, beer, wine
Desserts – if you signed up to bring dessert, you can bring your dessert with you when you head over after service.
OR – drop your dessert in the kitchen ideally before service, and we will drive over the desserts we have, so you can walk to the picnic if that appeals. We will have serving utensils.
