Celebrate South Bay Sanctuary Covenant on October 29!
Our October Justice Partner, South Bay Sanctuary Covenant (SBSC), will be hosting a benefit next week at UUCPA in support of their solidarity work in El Salvador. The event will take place on Sunday, Oct. 29 from 3-5 pm in the Fireside Room. This year marks 40 years since the founding of SBSC! Your support of SBSC as a Justice Partner helps to continue SBSC’s steady long-term commitment to increasing self-sufficiency in marginalized rural communities regarding nutrition, education, wholesome after-school activities, prevention of domestic violence, and other areas of need. In addition to donating to our October Justice Partner, please consider attending the SBSC event on October 29 to show your support and to learn more about the work this grass-roots organization does in El Salvador.
