Special Campus Work Day

Looking for something special for the long weekend? UUCPA B&G and Gardening teams have special one-time work for the church:

Help the Gardening team by Moving Mulch – We have piles that need to be distributed along the creekside garden. Let Nancy Neff know if you can help out on Monday May 27 at 10:00 (usual weekly gardening time.)

Install 30 LED bulbs to help reduce UUCPA energy use, and upgrade our lighting. Either: Saturday Morning, Sunday after church, or Monday morning. Let Robert Neff know if you are interested and which day is best for you. We bypass old ballasts, swap out fluorescent bulbs, and clean off the diffusers. Basic electrical experience welcome but not required, or come learn what nuts have to do with wiring.

We will upgrade the bulbs in rooms 1, 3 (Thacher), and the Library, (or perhaps room A).

Also, the regular UUCPA workday is coming up Saturday, June 1, 9 am – noon.

Consider making things even better by joining others at the monthly workday right here at UUCPA. There will be plenty of fine company. Come for some or all of the time. Projects might include painting some trim and kitchen cabinets, pruning shrubs, organizing closets, plus some jobs you may have in mind.
