Zoom-Chat With UUCPA Friends While You GET OUT THE VOTE

UUCPA’s UUtheVote team is hosting a virtual VOTE FORWARD letter party!

Vote Forward and The Big Send are hoping to mail 10 MILLION letters to 12 swing states to get infrequent voters from underrepresented demographic groups to the polls in November … and we’ve only completed one million letters so far! We need you! We are preparing letters now, storing them, and then mailing them in October. Several randomized-controlled trials show that handwritten letters are second only to door knocking for getting out the vote, and door-knocking may not be possible … even in October.

Don’t worry! We are not writing an entire letter. It is a form letter with a proven message that you simply personalize by adding the recipient’s name, your signature, and one heartfelt sentence about why we believe it’s important to vote. Then you fill out the envelopes and store them until October. Even if you don’t have envelopes or stamps on hand now, you can still work on the letters.
