If you’re planning to buy chocolate for Easter or Mother’s Day or other Springtime events, the Action Council urges you to consider fair trade chocolate. Much of the world’s chocolate (and coffee and tea) is grown and harvested by children, some of them in forced labor. This chart will let you know which chocolate companies provide a living wage to cocoa growers and don’t allow child labor in their supply chains. Please consider paying a bit more for these products and make life better for cocoa farmers.
