The Elder Journey group at UUCPA thrived for many years, meeting twice a month and discussing everything under the sun, from How to Prevent Falls to My Favorite Thanksgiving. Membership waxed and waned, but the toughest challenge was COVID. Being unable to meet in person took the wind out of our sails.
Inspired by many, many requests for an elders group, including from numerous newcomers, I am re-constituting Elder Journey. Whether it becomes a regular monthly or twice-monthly group, or is an occasional event; what the format(s) might be; the content–these are all up to the people who gather. So please come to the new old people’s gathering on Thursday, April 4, and we’ll take it from there!
