What is a genius? Someone rare, we know that. Someone with extraordinary gifts that few of us can hope to have. Figures such as Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Nikola Tesla, Marie Curie, Ella Fitzgerald, Michael Jordan. Or, descending slightly from the stratosphere, someone with an IQ of at least 140 and maybe far beyond.

Or is it? What if we thought of genius very differently–not as something a person is, but something a person has? Once upon a time, people thought of genius just that way, and if we reclaim it, this seemingly small difference opens up a world of possibility to all of us.
