It Doesn’t Have To Be So Hard

Experiences vary, but there’s no question that on the whole, it’s hard to be a man. Despite having the highest income and wealth of any gender, and more of their healthcare needs covered by their insurance, men’s life expectancy is considerably lower than the national average. Men are four times more likely to die by suicide and more than four times more likely to die by homicide than are women. Why does our culture give men so much power and privilege yet also make it so hard for men to be healthy and happy? And what can we do to make it better? Come and find out.

Worship leader: Rev. Amy Zucker Morgenstern
