It’s getting close to Auction Time – November 16 is just about a month away!
The Auction is such a great party – delicious food, wine, live music, and plenty of fun for the kids. There will be lots of exciting things to bid for, plus a raffle for a two or three night stay at a delightful vacation home in Inverness. Choose your outings – explore Point Reyes, go kayaking, visit the Cowgirl Creamery, play at the beach, take a hike by the coast, or visit an Indian village. There are 4 bedrooms and a spacious kitchen set on 2 acres in the hills.
It takes all of us working together to make this happen. Right now, the best thing you can do to help is to make a donation. It might be an object, like a piece of art, some wonderful food, or something unique and handmade. It might be a service – what skills do you have that would be helpful to others at UUCPA? Or it might be an event, like a party, a lunch or dinner, or an outing to a fun spot. Events have a double benefit – they build community while they make money for the church. They also sell out quickly.
The deadline for donations to appear in the catalog is October 27. You can find a link for the online donation form at www.uucpa.org/auction or email email@example.com. Or you can turn in your description at the Auction table on the patio (we have paper forms there).
