With our head usher out on medical leave for a few more weeks, and lots of visitors continuing to come to UUCPA, the ushers are more important than ever. If you want to try it out just once, let me know. You’ll be paired with someone who knows the ropes–a fun way to get to know them, get familiar with other faces and names, and help foster community.
As the job description explains, ushers greet folks as they come through the Main Hall lobby; give them an order of service if they wish; and answer questions they may have (often about who the speaker and musician are).
