Dear ones, it has been a hard week. And, not gonna lie, it’s going to be a hard four years just making sure that this week’s presidential election was not our last. I’ll be very brief and paraphrase a colleague in Texas: if you’re feeling alone, scared, or hopeless, come to UUCPA this Sunday. That will take care of the first, and together we’ll deal with the other two.
On Wednesday, all I really wanted to do was curl up under a blanket, but Rev. Cat and I had a vigil to host, and so I went to UUCPA–and I was so, so glad I had. Being among the 30 or 40 good people who came over the course of the evening lifted my spirits more than I could have imagined.
I’m looking forward to that boost at the Auction tonight and then, especially, as we gather tomorrow. We are the web that holds us, and the weavers too. See you there.
Blessings,
Amy
