BODHI TREE CONCERTS NORTH

What does it mean to be far from home, in a new land, with an uncertain future? Mezzo-soprano Betany Coffland, tenor Michael Dailey, and pianist Veronika Agranov-Dafoe present songs that will make us think about our current relationship to the immigration question, and about what it means to “belong.” It is an evening that will leave you feeling changed, empowered, and hopeful.

A significant portion of proceeds will go to SIREN, a local non-profit whose mission is to empower low-income immigrants and refugees through community education and organizing, leadership development, policy advocacy, civic engagement and legal services. SIREN believes that all people regardless of legal status or nationality are entitled to essential services, human dignity, basic rights and protections, and access to full participation in society.

Tickets are $27 and can be purchased in advance ($28.94 w/service fee) https://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/4397014 or at the door.
