Announcing the September Session of Dismantling White Supremacy
The Dismantling White Supremacy group will be meeting on Tuesday, September 26 at 7:15 pm on Zoom. This month we will be learning about the Bay Area Housing Finance Authority (BAHFA), an organization that was created in 2019 by the California Legislature. BAHFA’s mandate is to create regional solutions that meet the Bay Area’s affordable housing needs by producing and preserving more affordable housing and protecting our most vulnerable residents. We will also learn about an affordable housing bond measure that BAHFA is proposing for our ballot in 2024. Join us as we learn more about how things work today and how we can help improve the housing situation in the Bay Area!
The Zoom link for Tuesday will be sent to DismantlingWhiteSupremacy@uucpa.org prior to the session. If you would like to attend the session and are not subscribed to this email list, please email dismantlingwhitesupremacy+subscribe@uucpa.org. We welcome new attendees at any time!
