Renowned mythologist Joseph Campbell writes, “You have to strive every minute to get rid of the life you have planned in order to have the life that’s waiting for you,” while thirteenth/fourteenth-century mystic and theologian Meister Eckhart said, “The soul grows by subtraction.” Using these as points of entry, we explore the spiritual art of letting go.
