Each year in November, the church auctions goods and services at a wonderful party.  Members donate everything from homemade jam to a condo in Mexico, and they are bid in silent auction, or for the best items, a live (and lively) auction.  One favorite item that gets competitive bidding is a convenient parking slot for a year.

Come dressed up (or not!) and ready for the best UUCPA party of the year, and it’s all free! Delicious food to munch on, wine to sip, and a live jazz band to enjoy, plus many many items to bid on in both the Silent Auction and the Live Auction plus a Kids’ Auction and movies for kids right after that.

After-Auction Buying

After the auction is over, you can continue to sign up for parties using our online auction site: https://charityauction.bid/uucpa2018.

  • There are spaces available in many of the parties.
  • Browse the online catalog (click on the Catalog menu at the top) to see what’s available.
  • Register as an online bidder so that you can buy items.
  • Click “buy now” on the items you want to buy.
  • After you finish buying, go to My Account to find out how much you owe/print your statement.
  • Pay for your item next time you come to church (stop by the church office) and pick up any physical items you bought.
  • At this point, we are able to accept cash and check payments.

How to Bid in the Silent Auction:

On the Bid Sheet, write your name, bidding paddle number, amount of your bid, and how many bids you are placing – it’s that simple!

How to increase your Bid:

No erasing! Write your new bid in the first open space, along with your name, #, etc.

How to Pay:

Cash or check in the library at 9 pm or pay at church the next Sunday.

This auction is made possible by the donations of our members.  If you’d like to donate to the auction -– either a tangible item or an event, submit your auction offering using this online form: http://bit.ly/2xKGteI or email the pertinent details to auction@uucpa.org. We’ll put it in our catalog, which will be made available in both print and on the web a few weeks prior to the auction.

The deadline for donations for the 2018 auction has been extended to October 14, 2018.
